Just in time for your autumn celebrations, join Wee Things artist Rachel Beaupré in this step-by-step, live, virtual workshop and hand-sew your own soft pumpkin gnome! We will cover basics such as whip stitch and running stitch, as well as simple embroidery and how to form a simplified Waldorf-inspired doll head. Each participant will get to customize their own wee gnome, choosing skin tone, hair and eye color. The registration fee includes a complete kit of materials and instructions mailed to your door as well as the virtual workshop ticket. Your kit will include printed directions, an upcycled orange cashmere or merino wool sweater piece, green plant-dyed wool felt, cotton knit skin fabric, wool batting, wool hair, threads, needle, and embroidery floss–a beautifully natural lineup!

This class is beginner friendly and requires no previous sewing experience. It is recommended for adults or very experienced older children (ages 12+).

The finished dolls are approximately 3 ½” tall, although the pattern may be scaled.
